“Half-told Stories” to debut this Friday

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (March 2, 2005) — Jennifer Kraicinski’s “Half-told Stories,” an exhibit of photographs from Bosnia, will open this Friday, March 4, at Gallery 316 in downtown Johnson City. An opening reception for the exhibit will be held from 7 to 10 p.m.

Kraicinski, a Milligan College photography major from Bellville, Ohio, spent her two month visit to Bosnia capturing on film the people and culture of the region.

“The photographs are a collection of stories and snapshots of a people and culture that I had the amazing opportunity to get to know,” said Kraicinski.  “I want to share these stories and people because they have meant so much to me personally. I want others to have the opportunity to see what I saw.”

The exhibit is free and open to the public and will be on display throughout the month of March.  For more information please contact Alice Anthony, assistant professor of art at Milligan College, at 423.461.8970.
