Information Open House for graduate programs and degree-completion

MILLIGAN COLLEGE , TN (January 11, 2005) – Considering a career change or career advancement in business, education, or occupational therapy? Milligan College will host an information open house this Saturday, Jan. 15, 11 am. to 3 p.m., at the Mall at Johnson City food court for the following programs: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Education (M.Ed.), Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (M.S.O.T.), and the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration for Working Adults.

Milligan’s MBA is an 18-month program that meets one weekend a month, with on-going Internet-based instruction. It is tuition-competitive and offers a curriculum strong in management and business, as well as ethics.

For those who haven’t yet completed their undergraduate business degree, Milligan offers a degree completion program. The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration for Working Adults is an 18-month business administration major, meeting one night a week.

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) program offers an initial licensure program for those wanting to enter the field of teaching and an advanced program for experienced teachers seeking professional development, to add endorsement areas or achieve national board certification. The program can be completed in 15 to 18 months or one course at a time. Tuition is comparable to state university rates and Milligan’s education program is NCATE-accredited, which means its quality is nationally recognized.

The Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (M.S.O.T.) program is a 2½ year graduate program designed for individuals who have a bachelor’s degree from a variety of fields. Occupational therapists use creative activity to rehabilitate injured or aging people and help them regain control of their lives.
