Rolph named associate VP for business & finance

MILLIGAN COLLEGE , TN ( September 1, 2004 ) —  Milligan College President Don Jeanes has announced the promotion of Chris Rolph to associate vice president for business and finance.

Rolph, who has served as the college’s director of the budget and controller since 1995, will now also oversee student financial services for the college, a new model that will merge the traditional student accounts and financial aid departments into one. Students and families will be able to have all of their financial needs handled by a single department, explained Rolph.

“Chris has done an outstanding job assisting in the oversight of the college’s finances,” said Jeanes. “We have consistently balanced the budget and obtained an outstanding audit report from our external auditors each year. He has assisted in the daily financial operation of the college and done quite well.”

Rolph is a certified public accountant. He previously has worked as an auditor for Arthur Anderson & Co. in Cincinnati , Ohio , and as controller at Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary. He lived for several years in Cincinnati.

Rolph holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northern Kentucky University and a master of ministry degree from Cincinnati Bible Seminary.

Rolph holds membership in the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Johnson City Kiwanis Club. He is treasurer and serves on the executive committee of the Hands On! Regional Museum , as well as the finance committee at Grace Fellowship Church.

“We are very pleased and blessed to have Chris as part of our senior management team at Milligan,” said Joe Whitaker, vice president for business and finance. “He is a tremendous asset and will continue to provide leadership for our area.”
