Milligan College holds open house for graduate and evening college programs

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (March 15, 2004) — The Admissions Office at Milligan College will host an information open house this Thursday, March 18, for its degree completion program in business administration (B.S.) and three graduate programs: master of business administration (M.B.A.), master of education (M.Ed.) and master of science in occupational therapy (M.S.O.T.). The open house will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the second floor lobby of Derthick Hall.

The general information session will allow visitors to speak with faculty members and receive information on a variety of issues, such as academic coursework and financial aid.

The B.S. in business administration is a degree completion program that enables working adults to complete a business administration major in 18 months by attending class one night a week.

The M.B.A. is an 18-month program that meets one weekend per month, complemented by ongoing Internet-based instruction. The program is designed to accommodate professionals working at every level of management and focuses on business leadership from a Christian perspective.

The M.Ed. program includes both initial licensure and advanced degree options. The initial licensure degree is typically a 15-month professional educational program that allows teachers to earn their teaching certificate or license and their degree. The advanced program is for current teachers seeking professional development and their master’s degree.

The M.S.O.T. program is one of only two master’s level occupational therapy programs in the state of Tennessee and prepares therapists to help aging or injured people relearn basic living skills. The program is designed for students with baccalaureate degrees in a variety of academic areas.
