Richard Allen Farmer to lead chapel service


MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Feb. 19, 2004) — Dr. Richard Allen Farmer, former dean of the chapel at Taylor University and Gordon College, will lead worship and present the message for Milligan’s weekly chapel service this Thursday, February 26, at 11 a.m. in Seeger Memorial Chapel.  He will also teach a class on leading worship Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. in Derthick Hall, Room 109. Both events are open to the public and free of charge.

A gifted musician, author and pastor, Farmer has performed in concert in 15 different nations and throughout the United States.  He is now the president of RAF Ministries, a church renewal ministry.

A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Farmer has written It Won’t Fly if You Won’t Try. He holds a bachelor of music degree from Nyack College , an honorary  doctor of  divinity degree  from Gordon College , and an honorary  doctor of  sacred  theology degree  from Houghton College.

Farmer is a certified scuba diver, a motorcyclist and an instrument-rated airplane pilot. He usually flies his own airplane to most ministry engagements.

Farmer resides in Dallas, Texas, with his wife and son.
