Milligan College names new director for Adult Education


MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (June 13, 2003)-Pam Murray has been named director of adult education at Milligan College, where she will oversee enrollment and administration of the college’s adult education program.

Murray is a 1980 graduate of Milligan College. She holds a master’s in business administration from ETSU and is currently working on her dissertation at ETSU.

Murray worked for 14 years at ETSU, where her last few years were spent in the School of Continuing Studies as coordinator of their four undergraduate degree programs, designed especially for adults desiring to complete their degrees.

She is a native of Bryan, Ohio, and attends Grandview Christian Church. Her son, Xander, attends Tri-Cities Christian School.

Murray succeeds Paula Gentry who accepted a position in adult education at Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg, Va.

Milligan’s degree-completion program is designed to meet the needs of working adults who want to obtain a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Classes meet once a week and completing the major takes approximately 18 months.
