MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (May 29, 2002) — David Mee, vice president for enrollment management at Milligan, has been elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Christian College Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) during their annual conference last week at Azusa Pacific University. He last served on the board from 1993-96.
Mee has been at Milligan since May 2001. He previously supervised the admission program at Samford, a Christian university of 4,500 students in Alabama. From 1989-1998, he helped oversee the admission department at Houghton College, a Christian liberal arts college of 1,200 undergraduate students in Houghton, New York.
Mee holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Houghton College and a currently working towards a master of education degree in higher education counseling from the University of Montevallo in Alabama. He holds professional membership in the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC).
In 1993, Mee received a Service Award from the National Association of Christian College Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) in recognition of his contributions to the organization and the profession of college admission.
NACAAP has a membership of 154 colleges and universities. It is the only professional organization with a focus on student enrollment issues at Christian colleges, explained Mee. The association sponsors the National Christian College Fairs circuit, and has partnerships with several organizations and companies involved in the promotion of Christian colleges.
