MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (April 15, 2002) —Mezzo soprano Lindsey Holloway, senior music major at Milligan College, will present her senior voice recital at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. The performance will take place in Seeger Chapel on the campus of Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Holloway has sung in the Milligan College Concert Choir, and with the music ensemble, Heritage. She also sings with the Milligan College Chamber Singers, which performs the annual Christmas Dinners on the college campus.
In past years, Holloway has been selected to perform in the annual Honors Recital of Milligan’s music students. She was also selected by audition to be soloist with the Milligan College Chamber Orchestra. Holloway is a music education major at Milligan.
Her program will feature arias from “Carmen” (“Habanera”), “Madam Butterfly’ (“Un bel di”),
and “The Barber of Seville” (“Una voce poco fa”). Rachel Cunningham, freshman music major from Beverly, Ohio, will accompany her.
Holloway is a music education major from Jackson, Tennessee.
