Beverly, a 10-year member of the Milligan College staff, joined TASFAA in 1991.
“This organization helped to further my training and experience in financial aid, which benefited my work at Milligan College,” said Beverly.
Nominations for president of TASFAA are based on experience, involvement, and commitment to the association.
“I hope to develop many new leadership skills and polish my existing ones,” commented Beverly. “This is an opportunity to network with fellow colleagues and hopefully help give wider recognition to Milligan College.”
TASFAA members work to educate students about financial aid opportunities and to deliver aid to students. The organization also offers a variety of training opportunities to keep members and other constituencies abreast of changing federal and state financial aid regulations.
Beverly will serve as president-elect in 2002-2003 and past-president in 2004-2005.
