Senior recital held at Milligan College
MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN ( March 24, 2004 ) — Michael Douty, a senior music education major at Milligan College, will perform a senior saxophone recital on Sunday, March 28, at 3 p.m. in Seeger Chapel. Admission is free and open to the public.
Selections include classical works by Tomasi, Bozza, Milhaud and others. Vicki Fey, choir director at First Presbyterian Church in Bristol , will accompany him on piano.
The Milligan College String Quartet, under the direction of Dr. Kellie Brown, will also be featured on the program.
Douty is from Mill Hall , Pa. He studies saxophone under the instruction of Tom Crawford, instructor of music at Milligan College.
