Loughry presents senior recital
MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (November 3, 2004) — Dawn Loughry of Crescent City,
Calif., will present her senior recital on Saturday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 pm
in Seeger Chapel on the Milligan College campus.
Loughry,
a music performance major and mathematics minor, is a student of Anne
Elliott, adjunct instructor of piano. The concert will feature pieces by
Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Ravel. Three piano preludes
by George Gershwin also will be preformed.
Loughry
has participated in numerous music activities during her time at
Milligan. She has accompanied voice and instrumental students and has
accompanied the Milligan Concert Choir for the past two years. She has
been a member of Milligan Singers and Milligan Concert Choir and has
performed in the annual February Honors Recital for the last three
years, both as an accompanist and primary performer.
