Milligan College: Annual Scholarship Fund

$1.4 million is needed each and every year to provide scholarships for students. Successfully meeting this goal is the college’s most pressing and ongoing need. Since tuition alone does not cover the entire cost of a Milligan education, your gifts to the Annual Scholarship Fund benefit students directly, enabling them to experience the life-changing mission of Milligan.

Who gives to the annual fund?

Over 2,000 alumni, faculty, parents, churches, and friends made gifts to the annual fund last year. 25% of Milligan’s alumni gave back to the college last year, a number that is well above the average of schools similar to Milligan.

Where does the money go?

The fulfillment of Milligan’s mission is costly. Tuition covers only about 70 percent of the cost. Gifts and endowment income must cover the rest. Milligan relies upon the partnership and generosity of alumni and friends who give to Annual Scholarship Fund to bridge this gap.

The college relies on the Annual Fund to provide dependable and vital revenue for operating expenses that directly affect the quality of teaching and student life at Milligan.
