Admissions Counselor
My name is Grant Foster and I will be your Admissions counselor here at Milligan College. Let me let you know a little about myself: I Graduated from Milligan in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Communications with an emphasis in Film Studies and Digital Media. During my time at Milligan, I was able to understand God's calling for me to use my gifts in communications and speech to go into a life of full-time youth ministry. While I attended Milligan, I became the youth minister at an area inner-city church. Shortly after starting at that church, I was asked to be a part of several area ministry teams that sought to bring area youth together to discover God's love for them. After graduation I became the youth minister at another local church where I was later ordained in the spring of 2007. Milligan gave me the tools and opportunities I needed to discover how I could use my talents to connect with teenagers in a media-focused world.
I am so excited that you have taken interest in Milligan College. I know that if this is where you feel led to start an adventure of a lifetime, then the professors, staff, and fellow students will make sure that you have the experience, opportunity, and education you need to be the servant-leader Christ has called us to be. 1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
